THE UPPER EAST SIDE STORY
Last week I did a small shoot on the upper east side of a one bedroom apartment. Just for fun , I'm going to describe it in an Earnest Hemingway voice - or at least attempt to do so. Ok. Here it goes.
It was an early morning and the sun had just risen. I put all my gear in the car and drove to the subway. From there I took the train to third avenue. The trains were running late. When the doors opened I ran out and walked off the rest. I made it just in time. I entered the building and told the concierge I was meeting someone. He pointed to a lady who was sitting down. It was the realtor. I walked up to her and introduced myself. She was small and petite with pretty green eyes. She was pleasant and had a good energy about her. I followed her and took the elevator up to the second floor and she led the way to the apartment. Inside, was a family living in a one bedroom apartment. The realtor needed only a few images and it was important that we caught the most sunlight. I unpacked my gear and set up the first shot in the bedroom. The light was good and fine and the sun had just reached the bedroom windows. Then I did the second and third and fourth and fifth; these are the results.
